Read Write Inc.Comprehension follows on from Read Write Inc. Most children will begin at the end of Year 1 or the beginning of Year 2. The programme aims to take children to NC Level 3. Take your children from learning to read to reading to learn: Gives your children the knowledge they need to read really well Children gain a deeper understanding of what they read Children will become confident writers by exploring a creating interesting texts In line with the simple view of reading as outlined in the Rose Review The 30 weekly comprehension modules cover fiction and non-fiction texts, and include a wealth of reading and writing activities. 14 modules have self contained texts and 16 modules are link to published quality fiction and non-fiction children's books, providing a range of text types and author styles.
